Update: Pilsner 3.0

As you know from our brew day #21 post we’ve made two unsuccessful pilsners and the third, Pils 3.0 was our most recent attempt to make an enjoyable pilsner. The verdict is in….we can at least drink it but we won’t be sharing this one because there is a slight banana after taste. We looked at our notes and realized we might have let our brew sit in warm fermentation for a few hours longer than necessary causing the yeast to be over worked. Timing is everything, but at least we can say Cheers!

Looks delicious. Was it kegged or bottled?

Hi Texas Brews! It was kegged. We usually keg all our beer then bottle if we want to share or save some for later.
